1.Before renting the vehicle

Personal identification and driver's license
Following the Japanese domestic laws and regulations, we need to check and make a copy of your passport and your international driver's license and your driver's license from your own country. |

A credit card is requested to settle the payment. |
2.Insurance and compensation system

To secure your usage of a rental car, the insurance is included in the standard charge. The compensation limits are as follows: With no limit

Death: 10,000,000yen, Hospital stay: 7,500yen/day, Hospital visit: 5,000yen/day
The compensation is paid for a maximum of 180 days after the accident occurs.
The maximum amount in the case of disability after the accident and death is 10,000,000yen. | |

System of collision damage waiver (SCDW)
If you take out the collision damage waiver policy before you start driving your rental car,you will receive the following compensation:
Compensation for damage to property - you will receive the first 50,000yen that is normally paid by customer
Compensation for vehicle damage – you will receive the first 50,000yen/100,000yen that is normally paid by customer
You can take out the policy of this system by paying the following amount. Please fill out the application if necessary.

Non-operation charge(N.O.C)
If you cause an accident and damage the rental car, we can ask you the following extra costs regardless of the extent of damage or the required repair time as part of the non-operation charge during the repair period.
Please note that there is no compensation system to cover the following costs and you must pay the amount in case of accident

3.Japanese domestic law

When you drive the vehicle in Japan, please follow Japanese domestic laws and regulations and drive safely. |
|
Use of cellular phone
Japanese domestic law prohibits the use of cellular phones while driving. Please stop the vehicle and when using the cellular phone. |

Child seat
If the passenger includes a child under 6 years old, you are obliged to use the child seat for the child under Japanese domestic law. Mazda Car Rental has 3 types of child seat. Please fill in the application if necessary. |

Parking
The regulation for parking on the road is very strict. If you leave the car, you must park the car in a parking area. |

Check the vehicle
When using a rental car, you are obliged to check the vehicle every day before you drive. Please check the vehicle everyday according to the daily check sheet we provide before you check out.
